Carolyn A. (Reichart) Bowman, age 83, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, a resident of Brookdale Assisted Living, Bloomsburg, under the care of Compassus Hospice.

Carolyn was born on Sunday, January 26, 1941 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Charles L. and Marion G. (Fritz) Reichart. She graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1958. On January 16, 1981, Carolyn married her loving husband, Frank M. Bowman who preceded her in death on February 24, 2014. She was a homemaker. Carolyn was a member of the Ridge St. United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg and The Red Hat Society. Carolyn enjoyed spending her time volunteering at church and going to the beach.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Reichart and sister-in-law, JoAnne Reichart.

Survivors include her beloved six siblings: Larry L. Reichart and wife Claudia of Bloomsburg, Janet Robinson of Bloomsburg, Gordon R. Reichart and wife Mary of Bloomsburg, Randy Reichart and wife MaryAnne of Orangeville, Clair Reichart and wife Connie of Berwick, Paul E. Reichart and wife Delores of Orangeville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, Catawissa Christian Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will be private at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Bowman and Reichart families.
