Caroline L. Yetter, age 83, of Main St., Catawissa, died on Saturday, August 25, 2012 a resident of Kramm Health Care Center in Milton. Caroline has been a resident of Columbia County since 1974.
Caroline was born on Friday, February 17, 1922 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Reinhold and Freda (Steinbruck) Eichner. She received her education from the Sunnyside Grade School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For many years, she was employed as a Personal Care Assistant for the Wulfert family of Catawissa. She was also employed for many years by the Dillon Floral Corp. in Bloomsburg.
In July of 1972, Caroline was preceded in death by her late husband, Jack Yetter, and also three brothers: Carl Eichner, William Eichner and Jack Eichner.
Surviving is a brother Roy Eichner and wife, Lydia, of Philadelphia and a sister-in-law: Shirley Eichner of Catawissa.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 31 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, August 31 at 10:30 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg. Caroline will be laid to rest with her family in Philadelphia.
