Obituary
Carol Lee Walters, age 70, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at her home. Carol was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 21 years and previously resided in Catawissa.
She was born on Saturday, March 15, 1952, in Danville, a daughter of the late Harold and Pauline (Baylor) Shires. Carol graduated from the Danville High School. Carol enjoyed spending her time going to yard sales, walking, crocheting, knitting and sewing. She truly loved her family and her pet cats. Carol was a faithful follower of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard C. Walters, Jr.
Survivors include her two sons; Rob P. Walters and fiancée Jenny Allen of Sulphur Springs, TX, Ron J. Walters of Catawissa, eight grandchildren; Kaydence Walters, Rorie Walters, Lucian Walters, Annabelle Walters, Colton Allen, Kristen Allen, Addison Allen, and Natalie Allen.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Susan O. Rogutski, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Walters family.
