Carol J. (Knorr) Temple, age 67, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Grandview Health and Rehab, Danville. Carol was a resident of her home in Hemlock Twp. for over 33 years.

She was born on Friday, July 6, 1951 in Danville, a daughter of the late Claire and Helen (Berger) Knorr. Throughout her younger years, Carol attended the Danville area schools, and later graduated from Danville High School in 1969. Carol expanded her education by attending the Danville Licensed Practical Nursing Program, and graduated with an Associate Degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse and furthered her education to become a Respiratory Therapist. For over 46 years, Carol was employed by The Bloomsburg Hospital until her retirement in 2016.

She was a former member Red Hat Society. Carol loved spending her time with her granddaughters, attending sporting events, carnivals, amusement parks, shopping and vacations. She was especially elated to welcome her first great granddaughter in July 2018. She also enjoyed antiquing and collecting hats.

In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded by her son, Christopher L. Temple on November 25, 2005.

Survivors include her three granddaughters, Brittany, wife of Aaron Adams, of Elysburg, Kirsten, wife of Taylor Rupert, of Danville, and Kylie Temple and her fiancée, Steven Heddings of Danville, a great granddaughter, Lacy Adams, and two brothers, Edward Knorr and wife, Susan of Bloomsburg, and Gilbert Knorr of NY.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Temple family.
