Carol Ann (Krick) Lee, age 76, of Millville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday morning, October 23, 2015 as a recent patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Carol had succumbed after battling a courageous fight for many years with ill health.
Carol was born on Sunday, September 17, 1939 in Bear Gap, the only daughter of the late Kimber and Cora (Bunger) Krick of the Millville area. While growing up in the Bear Gap, she attended and later graduated from the Catawissa High School in 1957. She expanded her education by graduating from the Berean Bible School in Allentown and also the Spanish Language Institute of San Jose` in Costa Rica. Carol worked as a medical transcriptionist prior to meeting her husband, George F. Lee, Jr. who she married on June 22, 1963. In addition to raising her three children, Carol accompanied and worked with her husband as a missionary to Venezuela, and in pastorates in Trevorton and Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania and locally at the Christian Gospel Fellowship Church in Millville.
In recent years, she spent many hours reading, knitting for her family as well as cooking and candy making. Nothing made her happier than to be able to make a meal or some handmade item to give to someone in need.
Surviving is her beloved husband and best friend of over 52 years, George F. Lee, Jr. of Millville; two daughters Linda Lee Martz and husband, Earl, of Danville, and Angela Lee of Millville; her only son: Timothy S. Lee and wife, Kathleen, of Brackenridge; her only granddaughter: Alissa Rose Martz; and her brother: Gary Krick and wife, Suzzane of Whitney Point, NY.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, October 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 3300 Ridge Road in Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will also begin on Thursday evening, October 29 at 7 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, with family friend, Rev. Gerald R. Wiggin and her pastor, Rev. Timothy G. Smith, co-officiating. Graveside committal services will be held privately for the family in Lime Ridge. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 107 W. Main at Railroad Street in Millville is honored to be serving the Lee family.
