Carol Sue Beck, age 60, of Bloomsburg, died on Friday, November 6, 2020, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, after a ten year battle with ovarian cancer.

Carol was born on, October 14, 1960 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Eleanor (Long) Beck of Bloomsburg and the late Harvey E. Beck, Jr.

Throughout her younger years, Carol attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1978. Carol expanded her education by attending Eastern Nazarene College, she graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. Carol served as a teacher in Ohio and most recently at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Connecticut. She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene. Carol was very active in coaching softball and basketball.

Survivors in addition to her mother are a brother, Steven Beck and wife, Nancy, of Marshfield, MA, nephews: David Beck of Marshfield, MA and Nathan Beck and his wife Richelle of Shirley, MA as well as a great niece, Amelia Beck.

A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Cross Roads Church of the Nazarene, 71 Nazarene Lane, Milton, PA 17847. A private burial will be held in the Creveling Cemetery, Almedia. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eight Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Beck family.
