Carl D. Miller, age 80, of Catawissa, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, a resident of the Glory Haven Small Hospice Foundation Home, Catawissa. He was a resident of his home in Roaring Creek Township for over 25 years.

Carl was born on Wednesday, July 26, 1944, in Wilkes Barre, a son of the late Donald and Emily (Kosalnick) Miller. He graduated from the Crestwood High School, Mt. Top in 1962. Carl expanded his education by attending Washington University, Lafayette University and Lehigh University, graduating with an associate degree. On July 27, 1979, Carl married his loving wife, the former Linda Kessler. For many years, Carl was employed by Lehigh University, Bethlehem as Laboratory Supervisor until his retirement in 1998. After his retirement he worked as a Roaring Creek Auditor. Carl enjoyed spending his time farming, bicycling with his son, hiking and was an animal lover.

In addition to his parents, Carl was also preceded in death by his brother, George Miller.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Linda Miller of Catawissa; a son; Cristin Miller and his wife Victoria of Coopersburg, PA; a grandson: Alex Miller and his fiancée Alexandra of Bethlehem; and a brother; Donald Miller and his wife Andrea of White Haven.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Miller family.
