Bunny Bredbenner, age 78, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, December 27, 2024, at her Beaver Township home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Saturday, July 20, 1946 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Robert and Clara (Hackling) Benjamin. Bunny graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1964. On April 9, 1964, Bunny married her loving husband, Douglas J. Bredbenner, who preceded her in death on January 9, 2023.

Bunny enjoyed collecting ornaments and various collectibles, as well as doing the puzzles in the Press Enterprise. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and watching the wildlife from her porch. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bunny was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Benjamin.

Survivors include her three beloved sons, Gerald "Rusty" D. Bredbenner and wife Mary of Sumter, SC, R. Matthew Bredbenner of Bloomsburg, Michael A. Bredbenner of Gainesville, VA, three grandchildren, Dr. Kate Bredbenner and husband Jonathan Firestone, Addison Bredbenner, Tristan Bredbenner, and a brother, Brad M. Benjamin of Bloomsburg.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Bredbenner family.
