Bruce H. Haney, age 78, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at his Montour Twp. home.
He was born on Sunday, June 27, 1943, in Hazleton, a son of the late Harry and Erma (Mumney) Haney. Throughout his younger years, Bruce attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1962. For many years, Bruce was employed by Bloomsburg Electric and later Friedman Electric as a deliveryman until his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing and attending flea markets.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was also preceded in death by a stepson, Michael Blankenship, and a brother-in-law, Danny Evans.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Nancy Haney, a guest at Grandview Nursing Home, Danville, a son, Larry Haney and wife Kathy of Berwick, two grandsons, Justin Haney, Chad Haney, four great grandchildren, a brother, Stanley Haney and wife Marlene of Bloomsburg, three sisters, Debbie Evans of Millville, Donna Brown of Bloomsburg, Marianne Vanatta and husband Rick of Bloomsburg, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will begin on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 10:00 am in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge with Pastor James Kline, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Haney family.
