Bonnie L. Hack, age 61, of Berwick, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Bonnie was a resident of her home in Briar Creek Twp. for 1 year and previously lived in Lightstreet and Numidia.
She was born on Monday, January 5, 1959 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Jacob and Reba (Whitmoyer) Allen. Bonnie graduated from the Bloomsburg Area High School in 1976. On November 17, 1975, Bonnie married her loving husband, Daniel R. Hack Sr., who preceded her in death on April 11, 2009. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was also preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Hower, Martha Harner, and a brother, Mark Allen.
Survivors include her two beloved children, a son, Daniel R. Hack, Jr. of Nescopeck, a daughter, Melissa D. Hack of Berwick, three grandchildren, Katelyn Hack, Bentley Gross, Shelby Gross, two sisters, Diane wife of Chuck Cox, Kathy Watts, three brothers, Harold Allen and wife Diana, David Allen and wife Barbara, and Danny Allen and wife Heather, all of Bloomsburg.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will begin on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. in with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, pastor of Catawissa Christian Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Hack family.
