Obituary
Blanche M. Breisch, age 85, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, a patient of the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital in Bloomsburg.
Blanche was born on Thursday, September 9, 1937 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Britton and Lula (Morrison) Fought. She graduated from the former Scott Twp. High School in 1955. On December 22, 1957, Blanche married her loving husband, Robert C. "Bob" Breisch Sr. who preceded her in death on April 9, 2009. For over 57 years, Blanche was co-owner of Breisch's Auto Sales, Bloomsburg. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Espy. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge #436, American Legion Post #273, Catholic War Vets, Berwick and a Frosty Valley membership which she joined in 1976. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, trips to Mohegan Sun, flea marketing, golf, and bowled for many years.
In addition to her parents and husband, Blanche was also preceded in death by two sons, Barton Breisch and Britton Breisch, Sr. She is the last survivor of her immediate family.
Survivors include three children; Robert C. Breisch, Jr. of Las Vegas, Barbara Weaver and husband Brian of Millville, Bradley A. Breisch and wife Kim of Bloomsburg, two grandsons, Britton Breisch, Jr. of AZ, Brandon Breisch of Bloomsburg, and a daughter-in-law, Tracey Breisch of AZ.
Private Services will be at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc.745 Market at Eighth St. Bloomsburg, is honored to be serving the Breisch family.
