Beverly D. "Bev" Crawford, age 89, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville. Bev was a resident of Bloomsburg all of her life.

She was born on Thursday, March 19, 1936 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Pearl A. (Adams) Kashner. Bev graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1954. On April 28, 1956, she married her loving husband, Edwin D. "Ed" Crawford who preceded her in death on December 10, 2016. For over 50 years, Bev was employed by Weis Markets, Bloomsburg as a clerk until her retirement in 2016. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg and attended Lightstreet United Methodist Church. Bev enjoyed spending her time bowling, flag making, sewing, and was well known for knitting hundreds of personalized Christmas stockings. She especially loved family vacations at Ocean City, NJ.

Survivors include her two beloved daughters, Karen M. Houseknecht and husband Paul of Bloomsburg, Amy J. Montgomery and husband Craig of Hughesville, three granddaughters, Megan L. MacLelllan of Pittsburgh, Abby D. Teats and husband Jason of Jamestown, NC, Ali M. Montgomery of Hughesville, five great-grandchildren, Clayton MacLellan, Julia MacLellan, Scarlett MacLellan, Hudson Teats and Ellie Teats.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Lisa A. Mitchell, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Crawford family.
