Beverly Ann Bankes, age 75, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at her home where she lived for over 20 years.

Beverly was born on Sunday, March 20, 1949 in Danville, a daughter of the late Elias and Violet (Hoffman) Clark. She graduated from the Danville High School in 1967. On August 12, 1989, Beverly married her loving husband, Barry F. Bankes, who preceded her in death on September 24, 2009. Beverly worked at a variety of retail businesses until her retirement in 2024. She was well known for baking, she was an avid Stephen King reader, devoted grandmother, mother, loving sister and especially loved her cats.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was also preceded in death by a son, Brian R. Weaver.

Survivors include her beloved son: Michael Weaver and wife Sheila of Orangeville; three grandsons: Zachary Weaver and wife Samantha of Harrisburg, Nathan and Kaelan Weaver both of Orangeville; her daughter-in-law: Barbara Weaver of Millville; two sisters: Pamela Quigg and husband Billy, Karen Johnston and husband Dave, both of Danville.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc.745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Bankes/Weaver family.
