Obituary
Betty A. Shafer, of Millville, died on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at her home.
Betty was born in Quakertown, a daughter of the late Lunius V. Shafer and Mildred E. (Hall) Greenly. Throughout her younger years, Betty attended the Millville area schools, and later graduated from Susquehanna University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
For most of her life, Betty was employed in Retail Sales in Philadelphia, Newark and New York City. For over 40 years Betty owned and operated Shafer's Village Store in Millville until her retirement in 2000.
In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded by three siblings.
Survivors include a step brother and step sister, three nephews and one niece.
All services will be private. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 W. Main at Railroad Street in Millville is honored to be serving the Shafer family.
Memorial contributions in Betty's name are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
