Betty J. Resseguie, age 81, of Millville, passed away on Friday morning, January 24, 2025, at her home under the care of Geisinger Hospice. Betty was a resident of her home in Millville for most of her life.

She was born on Wednesday, June 2, 1943 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Gaylord and Ruth A. (Cox) Resseguie. Betty graduated from the Lewisburg High School in 1962. In her early life Betty was employed as a Veterinary Surgical Nurse until her retirement. She loved spending time with family, fishing and her six cats.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Roberta Resseguie.

Survivors include her beloved partner, Maureen B. Coll of Millville; five brothers, Gaylord Resseguie, Jr., Douglas Resseguie and his wife Joan, Phillip Resseguie and his wife Linda, Roger Resseguie and his wife Marge, Edward Resseguie and his wife Samantha, many nephews and nieces including her niece, Jessica Yohey and friend Jeff Stere of Millville who helped take care of Betty, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Resseguie family.
