Betsy J. Johnson, age 60, of Bloomsburg, passed away at her home in Hemlock Township on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Betsy was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 10 years.

Betsy was born on Friday, May 14, 1965 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Marianne (Thomas) Creasy and the late Charles Creasy. She graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1983. Betsy expanded her education by attending Bloomsburg University. For many years, Betsy was employed by Walmart as a cashier and worked many jobs as a medical aide and caregiver. Betsy was a member of the LCBC Church, Bloomsburg. She was also previously a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Port Matilda. Betsy loved her grandchildren and watching them grow. She also enjoyed spending time with her cats and hanging out at the pool and gym with her close friends. Betsy enjoyed being a caregiver to many, including her mother.

Survivors include her mother, Marianne Creasy of Lewisburg; her two children: Kayla Johnson and her boyfriend Derek Dershem of Loganton, Travis Johnson of Princeton, IN; two siblings: Wayne A. Creasy and wife Lisa of Danville, Lesla B. Orsino and husband James of Hewitt, NJ; four grandchildren: Sophia, Madison, Cohen and Emersyn.

Funeral Services will begin on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:00 am at the LCBC Church, 2421 Columbia Blvd., Bloomsburg, PA with Pastor Brad Travelpiece, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Johnson family.
