Betsy Fay Haney, age 81, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, a resident of Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Health Center, Berwick. She was a lifelong resident of her home in South Centre Township.

Betsy was born on Sunday, March 12, 1944 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Benjamin Frederick and Ruth (Bowers) Haney. She attended Central Columbia High School, graduating in 1962. For many years, Betsy was employed by Milco Industries in Bloomsburg as a floor inspector before working at Bloomsburg University custodial department, retiring after 23 years. She loved to spend her time doing word searches, and Betsy especially enjoyed going out to eat with her friends.

In addition to her parents, Betsy was also preceded in death by sister, Alice Ann Haney.

Survivors include her sister, Linda Scholl and husband Frank of Mifflinville.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Chuck Chamberlain, Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow at the New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Haney family.
