Beryl A. Hunter, age 69, of Fernville, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at her Hemlock Twp. home. Beryl was born on Thursday, September 24, 1942 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Snyder Gatski.
After graduating from the Bloomsburg High School in 1960, Beryl attended the Danville School of Nursing and became a LPN. She was last employed at the Danville Day Care Center, retiring in 2000.
Beryl was a long time member of the Buckhorn Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry E. Hunter on January 14, 2001. Survivors include a daughter: Brenda McCloughan of Bloomsburg, a son: Brian Allsteter and wife, Katrina, of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren and a brother: Peter Gatski and wife, Jean Downing, of Bloomsburg.
A private funeral service will be held with immediate family members attending and officiating. Burial will be in Creveling Cemetery, Almedia.
