Bernadine M. Krum, age 92, 110 Friar Road, Bloomsburg died Thursday, November 20 at her residence of over fifty years. She had been in ill health for the past two months.
Bernadine was born November 13, 1916 in Danville, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Manning) Miller. She attended Danville area schools.
She attended St. John Lutheran Church. Bernadine was a member of Bloomsburg Order of Eastern Star #279, the U.S. Bowling Congress, Tuesday night Ladies Handicap League and Thursday night Mixed Couples League.
Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Krum in 1987; two sisters: Sarah Diehl and Mary Lynn and a brother: John Miller.
Survivors include a daughter: Shirley Shaffer, Bloomsburg; a son: Larry "P-Nut" Krum and his wife, Sue, Bloomsburg; four grandchildren: Julie Hock and her husband, Darin, Jason Krum and his wife, Tiffany, Darren Shaffer and his wife Stephanie and Dana Shaffer; five great-grandchildren: Crue and Cole Hock, Ellexis and Hunter Krum and Emma Shaffer and a sister: Thelma Moser, Turbotville. Funeral services will be Monday, November 24 at 11 A.M. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg with The Rev. Gordon E. Smith, St. John Lutheran Church officiating. Friends will be received Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park.
