Belinda J. Currey, 71, of Elysburg, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, June 4, 2026. Born in Wilmington, DE March 9, 1955, she was a daughter to the late Clifford and Marie (McLain) Clark.

Belinda graduated from McKean High School, Class of 1973, and continued her education at Bloomsburg University and the Geisinger School of Nursing. She would go on to obtain her MSN from Loyola University. Belinda was a member of Theta Sigma Tau and SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and was a CCRN Alumna. She loved working as a Registered Nurse on the Geisinger CICU until health issues forced her to leave this role. She then found herself in the Human Resources department at Geisinger, where she was tasked with recruiting the highly esteemed advanced practitioners needed by the health system.

Surviving Belinda are her brother, William David Clark of DE, and several other beloved family members.

All are welcome to join Belinda’s family for visitation 5-7 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Interment will be in Lake Lane Cemetery, Heaters, WV. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve Belinda’s family.
