Audrey M. Starr, age 95, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 22, 2021, at the home of her son, Atley in Hemlock Twp. under the care of Geisinger Hospice.

She was born on Saturday, March 20, 1926 in Danville, a daughter of the late Franklin and Ruth (Andress) Bitler. Audrey was employed by Milco Industries, Bloomsburg and Millville as an Inspector until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Bloomsburg Christian Church and Silver Sneakers, Danville. Audrey loved spending time with family and her pet dogs.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was also preceded in death by her husband Roland L. Starr, Sr. on March 3, 1990, a daughter, Euphemia Lee "Tiny" Starr in August, 1946, as well as three sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include her four beloved children; Dennis F. Starr and wife Pamela of Conyngham, Roland L. Starr, Jr. and wife Linda of Bloomsburg, Atley N. Starr and wife Deborah of Bloomsburg, Audrey Ann wife of Larry Hartzell of Bloomsburg, a niece, Judy Traver of Falls, PA who Audrey raised during her childhood, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family with burial in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Starr family.
