Audrey J. Dent, age 95, a long time resident of Lightstreet, died on Saturday, November 5, 2011 a resident of Balance Care at Bloomsburg where she was admitted in December of 2009.

Audrey was born on Sunday, January 9, 1916 in Foundryville, PA, a daughter of the late Nevin R. and Laura (Kirkendall) Rarich. She was a member of the 1934 Graduating Class of the former Scott High School. Throughout her life, she dedicated her time and love to her children and family in caring for them in and out of the home. She was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, the Lightstreet Garden Club, the Lightstreet Homemakers and also the Order of the Eastern Star #279, Bloomsburg.

On January 30, 1990, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Dent, Sr. Survivors include two daughters: LuAnn Everitt and husband, Albert, of Lightstreet; and Donna Farver and husband, Wayne, Sr., also of Lightstreet; two sons: Charles H. "Chic" Dent, Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Mifflinville; and Richard F. "Rick" Dent and wife, Peggy, of Espy; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding were two brothers: Glenn and Earl Rarich; and a grandson: Charles H. Dent III in 1986.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg. Fraternal Services for their departed member will begin at 6 p.m. by Order of the Eastern Star # 279, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 11 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., with her pastor, Rev. Jennifer Parks-Snyder of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, officiating. Graveside Services will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
