Audrey Adams, age 77, of Neyhart Road, Orangeville, died on Thursday, February 10, 2011 a resident of Bloomsburg Health Care Center. She was a resident of her home in Orangeville for over 20 years.
Audrey was born on Tuesday, October 24, 1933 in Gowen of Luzerne County, a daughter of the late Harvey and Alberta Stine Kreisher. She attended the Locust Township Area Schools. In her earlier years, she was employed by Reigle Shirt Factory in Catawissa and most recently employed by Milco Industries in Bloomsburg.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Edward E. Adams, having been married on September 18, 1982; three children: Sharon Vincent and her husband, Robert, of Pittsburgh; Scott Crawford and his wife, Diana, of Millersville; Darlene Shannon and her husband, Robert, of Nescopeck; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five step-children: David Adams and his wife, Sharon; G. Dennis Adams and his wife, Dody; Pamela Knier and her husband Jerry, all of Muncy; Rita Fry and her husband, Troy, of Montgomery; and Donna Ferguson and her husband, John, of Clarkstown; 12 step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; a sister: Geraldine Yeager and her husband, Raymond, of Numidia; and a brother: Richard Kreisher and his wife, Lynne, of Gettysburg.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 15 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, with Rev. E. Christian Dunlap, Columbia Montour Home Health Chaplin, officiating.
