Obituary

Arlene M. (Breisch) Cox, age 88, of Millville, died on Tuesday morning, February 5, 2013, a resident of Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She had lived at her home with her late husband since 1952 until being admitted to the nursing home.
Arlene was born on Monday, November 29, 1924 in Bloomsburg a daughter of the late George and Ida (Shuman) Breisch. She was a member of the 1938 Graduating Class of the Bloomsburg High School. On October 14, 1944, Arlene was married to her late husband of 67 years, Donald C. Cox, in the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bloomsburg.
For many years, she was employed at the former Ed & Dick's Restaurant in Orangeville. In addition to being married to her husband in the church, Arlene was also a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church for over 70 years.
On April 12, 2012, Arlene was preceded by her late husband, Donald C. Cox. She was also preceded by a sister, Jane Fedrigon on June 3, 2004 and also by two brothers: Fred Breisch on June 26, 1993 and Warren Breisch on September 26, 1994.
Survivors include a daughter: Donnette Molick and husband, James, of Catawissa; a son: Jimmy R. Cox and wife, Linda, of Millville; two grandsons: John Molick and wife, Daphne, of Selinsgrove and Scott Cox and wife, Rose, of Milesburg; two great-grandchildren: Amanda and Donald Cox and also two sisters: Louann Laidacker and husband, James, of Bloomsburg and Richard Breisch and wife, Gloria, of Mifflinville.
At the request of the family, all Viewings will be held privately at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 West Main at Railroad Street, Millville. A Public Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Elan Memorial Park Cemetery, Lime Ridge with Pastor Mike Woolcock, officiating.
