Albert James Mensch III, age 47, of Mainville Drive, Bloomsburg died on Monday, August 20, 2012, a patient at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Albert was born on Wednesday, December 23, 1964 in Bloomsburg, a son of Albert James Mensch, Jr. of Bloomsburg and Barbara Ann (Harrington) Boise of Coal Township. Throughout his earlier years, he attended school in the Bloomsburg area. Following his education he enlisted in the Army National Guard. He was employed by the Bloomsburg Mills Inc., but most recently worked for Paper Magic Group in Elysburg. Albert's greatest enjoyment in life was riding the open road on his motorcycle throughout the area.
In addition to his parents, Albert is survived by two daughters: Shelly Hess of Berwick and Laura Fosse of Mainville; a son: Brayden Mensch of Coal Township; four siblings: Margaret Herb and husband, George, of Trevorton; Robert Mensch and wife, Betty, of Mt. Carmel; Barbara Rarick and husband, Robert, of Catawissa; and Linda Rupert of Shamokin; and five grandchildren: Jordon Fosse, Colton Hess, Logan Fosse, Madison Hess and Landon Fosse.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27 at 1:00 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg with Rev. Thomas J. Fetterolf, officiating. Graveside services will be in Creveling Cemetery, Almedia. Memorial contributions, to defray expenses, are suggested to his sister: Margaret Herb, 1720 Mahanoy St., Trevorton, PA 17881.
