Marian S. Kapp Springman

Marian S. Kapp Springman, age 91, of Muncy, past from this life on Saturday evening, December 4, 2021, at her Moreland Twp. home following an extended illness. She was born on Thursday, September 4,1930 in Muncy, a daughter of the late Clinton G. and Ina (Faus) Snyder. Marian graduated from the Muncy High School. She was employed by Lysock View Nursing Home, Montoursville as a Nurse's Aide until her retirement. After her retirement she spent many hours helping others. Marian was a member of the Moreland Baptist Church, Muncy. She was known for her generosity, coconut cream pie and love of ice cream. In addition to her parents, Marian was also preceded in death by her first husband, George S. Kapp, Sr., her second husband, Dale Springman, a sister, Mabel Lyons, three brothers, Harley Snyder, Carl Snyder, Donald Snyder, and a sister-in-law, Betty Snyder. Marian's family was one of her precious treasures. Survivors include her beloved children; George S. Kapp, Jr. and wife Fannie of Millville, William Kapp of Muncy, John Kapp and wife Susan of Hughesville, Cindy Freed of Williamsport, three step-daughters, Mary (Springman) Lay, Barbara (Springman) Kerr, Nancy (Springman) Ivie, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and a brother, James Snyder of Muncy. A private committal service will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.
