Dennis W. Baylor, age 64, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020, at his home in Mainville where he resided for the past 40 years. He was born on Thursday, May 24, 1956 in El Paso, TX a son of Gloria Leona (Lesnefsky) Baylor of Bloomsburg and the late Allen Daniel Baylor. Throughout his younger years, Dennis attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from Columbia Montour Vo-Tech in 1974. For over 30 years, Dennis was employed by PennDOT as a welder and diesel mechanic until his retirement in 2011. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. His passion was interest in cars, trucks and tractors. Dennis enjoyed watching classic movies and Masterpiece Theater, listening to rock and roll music, especially Kiss and AC/DC. Survivors in addition to his mother, is a son Matthew Allen Baylor and wife Rachel of Bloomsburg, a grandson, Jack Wyatt Baylor; two sisters, Dr. Kathy E. Baylor Giorgio and husband Domenic of Bloomsburg, Karen D. Baylor of Kulpmont, as well as several aunts and cousins. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Christine Kirchner, officiating.
