Dawn E. Zeisloft

Dawn E. Zeisloft, age 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at her home in Montour Twp. surrounded by her loving family where she lived for 63 years. Dawn was a resident of Bloomsburg all of her life. She was born on Tuesday, May 13, 1930 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Goodall) Patterson. Dawn graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1948. On April 16, 1949, Dawn married her loving husband, James D. Zeisloft, who preceded her in death on September 14, 1994. Dawn was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg and a member of the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, and loved her pet dogs, Snowball and Cocoa. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Hack, Beverly Hack, Mary Lou Long, and Emily Rhone. Survivors include her two children, a daughter, Jamie wife of Curtis Smith of Bloomsburg, a son, Randall J. Zeisloft and wife Patricia of Waterville, OH, two grandsons, Jody S. Zeisloft and wife Vicky of Bar Harbor, ME, and Jeremy J. Zeisloft and wife Kara of Perrysburg, OH, three great grandchilden, Arison Zeisloft, Avary Zeisloft, and Alivia Zeisloft. A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg. Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Mark F. Reisinger, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Zeisloft family.
