Barbara L. Raymond

Barbara L. Raymond, age 75, of Benton, died on Friday, March 18, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and under the care of Commonwealth Hospice. Barbara was a resident of her home in Sugarloaf Township for over nine years. Barbara was born on Thursday, June 22, 1946 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Margie (Welch) Miller. Throughout her younger years, Barbara graduated from the Kearsley High School in Flint, Michigan. Most of her working life, she was a banker. She had also been employed by the Bradford Regional Medical Center. On April 16, 1963, Barbara married her loving husband, William Asa Raymond. Barbara was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, where her husband served as pastor and assistant pastor. Barbara enjoyed spending her time playing pickle ball at Benton Community Center. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded by her husband William, on February 28, 2015 and a son, John R. Raymond on Augusst 13, 2000. Survivors include her son, Asa A. Raymond of Smethport, PA, two daughters, Jeanne M. Raymond of Benton, and Mary (Timothy) Sampey of Clinton Township, MI, granddaughters: Elizabeth (Brandon) Hanley and Tammie Tocco (Michael), great grandsons: Tyler Hanley, Nolan Hanley, and Conner Hanley. brother: Robert E. (Cheryl) Miller, Jr. of Coolville, OH, and sisters: Ramona (Gary) Moskol of Avon, IN and Marsha (Curtis) St.John of Westerville, OH, A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday morning, March 22, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1314 State Route 254, Millville, PA 17846. Funeral Services will also begin on Tuesday morning, March 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Micah Felber, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Millville Cemetery, Millville. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 107 W.
