Austin Gage Oxenrider, age 22, of Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Montour Township, Columbia County. Austin was a life long resident of Bloomsburg.
Austin was born on Friday, February 3, 1995 in Danville, a son of Barry L. and Dennine R. (Labour) Oxenrider of Bloomsburg. Throughout his younger years, Austin attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 2013 where he played football for four years. Austin attended Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia. He was an employee of Fought's Disposal. Austin enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing and he was an automotive enthusiast.
Survivors in addition to his parents are two siblings: Chelsi M. Oxenrider and Lucas A. Oxenrider both of Bloomsburg, a niece: Artemis; paternal grandmother: Shirley Oxenrider of Bloomsburg; maternal grandfather: Denny Labour (Elizabeth) of LaGrange, KY; and maternal grandmother: Faye Davis (Robert) of Orangeville.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, pastor of Shiloh Bible Church, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Oxenrider family.
