Suzanne B. Garguilo, age 63, formerly of East Setauket, New York, died Friday, October 1, 2010 a resident of Balanced Care at Bloomsburg. She was a resident of Setauket, New York for over 40 years and was a resident of Balanced Care at Bloomsburg for the past 18 months.
Suzanne was born on Saturday, August 2, 1947, in West Hempstead, New York, a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Babbington Kirik. She was a member of the 1964 Graduating Class of West Hempstead High School and also obtained an Associates Degree from Suffolk County Community College. Most recently she was employed as an administrator for Multiple Listing Service in Babylon, New York.
Survivors include a daughter: Sharon Blake and her husband, Scott, of Bloomsburg; a son: Michael Garguilo, and his wife, Laura, of Milton, Georgia; seven grandchildren; a sister: Linda Scholl and her husband, Steve, of Syracuse, New York; and two brothers: Kenneth Kirik of Knox, New York and Allan Kirik and his wife, Judi, of New York, New York.
Services will be held in the near future in Long Island, New York. The Garguilo family is being assisted by the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
