Sharon E. Bingaman, age 67, a 10 year resident of Poplar Street, Bloomsburg, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the Bloomsburg Hospital following a brief illness.
Sharon was born on Wednesday, July 21, 1943 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris Schneider Grassley and was the step-daughter of Edna Grassley of Danville. She attended the Bloomsburg High School and was retired from the Danville State Hospital.
Preceding her in death was her husband, William R. "Pappy" Bingaman, Sr. on April 16, 2011; a sister, Rose Miller in 2007 and a brother, Larry "Buck" Grassley in 1987.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Lisa Mensinger, wife of Mike, of Catawissa; two sons: William R. "Bill" Bingaman, Jr. and Robert J. Bingaman husband of Jennifer, both of Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren: Scott, Chris, Courtney, Logen, Jordan, Sabrina, Haylea, Karlea and Katelyn; four great grandchildren: Jocelyn, Blaize, Jalyn and Sage; a sister: Theresa Miller, wife of Robert, of Bloomsburg and a step-brother: Richard Grassley of Mooresville NC.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 10:00 am from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg with Rev. Thomas Fetterolf, officiating.
