Sandra L. Smith, age 57, of Columbia Village, Millville, died on Saturday, December 12, at Grandview Health Homes with her loving family at her side. Sandra had been ill for two weeks. She was a resident of Millville for 8 years and had formerly lived in Stony Brook Circle, Orangeville. Sandra was born Wednesday, December 3, 1952 in Danville a daughter of Robert and Helen (Gillaspy) Long of Millville. She was a 1970 graduate of the Millville High School. She was a Dietary Aide and was last employed at Geisinger Medical Center. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Espy. Surviving in addition to her parents is a daughter: Tawny Hons (Brad) of Millville, a son: Tory Smith of North East, MD; a granddaughter: Harlee Hons; three sisters: Brenda Grassert (Kirk) of Middletown, DE, Betsy Long (Ray Swank) of Millville and Susan Stackhouse (Joe) of Deland, FL and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Benee. A service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held at Gordner's Cemetery, Unityville, on Friday, December 18 at 11 A.M. with her pastor, Rev. Gordon E. Smith, officiating. She will be buried on the lot of her grandparent's, Fred and Maude Gillaspy. Arrangements are in the care of the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
