Rose M. Ammon, age 60, of Berwick, died Friday, June 20, 2014 in Orangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center, Orangeville where she was admitted Sunday. Rose had been in failing health since December 2013.
A daughter of the late Edward Fry and Dorothy (Conner) Fry of Berwick, Rose was born on Friday, June 11, 1954. After graduating from Central Columbia High School in 1972, she completed her education and became certified as a Nurse's Aide. She was employed by Lewisburg United Methodist Home and Geisinger Medical Center.
Rose was a member of New Heart Christian Fellowship of Nescopeck.
In 1975 Rose married her husband, Ralph I. Ammon III, "Buzz" who survives in addition to her mother. Also surviving is a brother, James Fry of Berwick.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening, June 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning, June 25 at 10 a.m. also from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with her pastor, Rev. Michael J. Orendi, Sr. officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Ammon family.
