Judith A. Meegan, age 71, of Ft. Jenkins Lane, Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in the Geisinger Medical Center where she was admitted on December 21.
Judith was born on Saturday, February 4, 1939 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Donald B. and Virginia Horst Wall. In 1957, Judith graduated from the Verona High School in Verona, NJ and in 1990 received her Licensed Practical Nursing credentials from the Perkasie Vocational Technical School. She was of the Lutheran faith and retired as a LPN.
She will be remembered by three daughters: Marybeth Girton and husband, Al, of Bloomsburg; Joanne Keller of Hatboro, PA; and Karen Windover and husband, William, of Warminster, PA; five grandchildren: Michael Everitt and wife, Cortney; LeeAnn Everitt, David Everitt, Kelly Stimac and Jennifer Stimac and one great-grandson: Levi Michael Everitt.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by a brother: Edward Wall and a sister: Suzanne Auerbach.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home of 745 Market at Eighth St., in Bloomsburg.
