Jeremiah Eli English, age 30, of East 10th Street, Berwick, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at his residence.
Jeremiah was born on Friday, August 29, 1980 in Bloomsburg, a son of Harry E. English, of Bloomsburg and Lisa (Noss) English of Richmond, Virginia. He attended both the Bloomsburg High School and also Motoaca High School in Virginia. He was currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserve and was also Assistant Manager of the Dollar General Store in Berwick. Jeremiah was also an EMT while living in Richmond, VA. He was a member of the Bloomsburg American Legion Post #273 and the Bloomsburg VFW Ft. McClure Post 804. He enjoyed spending his time cooking, camping and a large variety of outdoor activities.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is a daughter: Dorothy Ann English of Bloomsburg; twin sisters: Allisa Rose and Shaina Marie English of Richmond Virginia; three brothers: Joshua S. English and wife, Laura, of Orangeville; Isaiah S.H. English of Bloomsburg; and Noah L. English also of Bloomsburg; a Maternal Grandmother: Arlene H. Noss of Richmond, VA; and Maternal Grandfather: H. Bernard Noss of Wilkes-Barre.
A Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin J. Miller, of the Benton United Methodist Church, officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to: Bloomsburg Veteran's Memorial, c/o Bloomsburg American Legion, 110 Juniper St. Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
