Dwight D. Pirrone, age 52, of Berwick, died on Wednesday evening, March 19, 2014 at his home in North Centre Township.
Dwight was born on Friday, October 27, 1961 in Philadelphia, a son of Dorothy (Kalinowski) Pirrone of Philadelphia and the late Joseph A. Pirrone, Sr. Throughout his younger years, Dwight completed his education from the Frankford High School in Philadelphia. For many years, Dwight was employed for many companies throughout Columbia County such as Cheetah Chassis Corp., Amerimax Building Products Inc. and Weis Markets in Bloomsburg. Dwight always shared and enjoyed his love of music and art. Dwight also loved playing and expanding his skills with his guitar.
In addition to his father, Dwight was preceded in death by three brothers: Joseph A. Pirrone, Jr., Michael Pirrone and Charles Pirrone.
Survivors include his only son: Eric Pirrone of Catawissa; six sisters: Marie Domenico-Robbins and husband, Sam, of Bloomsburg; Dorothy Spinosi-Bailey and husband, Bill; Theresa Ruderick and husband, Fred; Esther Marshall and husband, Richard; Emma Pirrone and Annette Pirrone, all of Philadelphia; two brothers: Samuel Pirrone and John Pirrone both of Philadelphia and numerous nephews and nieces.
At this time, all funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Pirrone family.
