David Bradley Davenport, age 51, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 in Daytona Beach, after a very courageous battle with cancer. He had been a resident of Florida for over 35 years.
David was born in Abington, Pennsylvania on Thursday, November 23, 1961, a son of Beverly Ann (Heckman) Davenport of Orangeville and the late Richard M. Davenport.
For four years, David faithfully served our nation as a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was also an avid pool player and enjoyed watching television.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Beverly, is a brother: Jeff Davenport of Waterloo, Iowa; a sister: Pat Davenport of Casselberry, FL and many relatives and friends who loved him.
A private burial will be held in the family cemetery plot at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St. Bloomsburg is caring for the Davenport family.
