Beverly J. Alley, age 76, of Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, July 30, 2016, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Beverly was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 18 years.
Beverly was born on Friday, November 24,1939 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Ray and Pearl (Dalious) Price. Beverly graduated from the Central Columbia High School.
Beverly most enjoyed spending her time with her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, knitting, stain glass crafts, needlework crafts, basket weaving and gardening.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was also preceded by husband, Franklin A. Alley in 1997 and a sister, Catherine Blosser.
Survivors include her daughter Colleen R. Liddick and her fiance, Michael Yanuzzi, of Bloomsburg, PA, son: Franklin R. Alley of Miami, FL; two grandsons: Erich Liddick and Mitchell Liddick; a great granddaughter, Maya Liddick; two sisters: Lois Chiogna of Kingston, PA and Margaret Schell of Berwick: two brothers, Dan Price and wife, Diane, of Bloomsburg and James Price and wife, Terri, of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am. at the First English Baptist Church, 700 Millville Rd. Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will follow on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Lee Barnhardt, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Creveling Cemetery, Almedia. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Alley family.
