Amy L. Stiner, age 37, of Machias, Maine and formerly of Columbia County, died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Roque Bluffs, Maine.
Amy was born on Monday, September 22, 1975 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Patricia (Kline) Hoffman, of Catawissa and Charles Rarig III, of Catawissa. She graduated from the Southern Columbia High School in 1994, and also attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Amy was known for her love for photography and beautiful photographs.
With her husband, Gregg, Amy was currently managing a satellite farm of the Tide Mill Organic Farm in Machias ME; a sustainable organic dairy farm.
Survivors include her husband: Gregory P. Stiner, whom she married on October 17, 2009; her mother: Patricia Hoffman and step-father, Blake Hoffman, of Catawissa; her father: Charles Rarig III of Catawissa; two step-sisters: Tina Hoffman of Shamokin and Tricia Hoffman of Elysburg. Amy was preceded in death by a brother: Curtis Hoffman in 1990.
As a proud expectant mother, Amy was caring and passionate with anticipation about the arrival of their first child in early September. Amy will be remembered by innumerable friends world-wide, whose lives she deeply touched.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 107 West Main at Railroad St., Millville. Amy's uncle, Ted Klett, will officiate funeral services which will begin at 12 noon. Graveside services will follow in the Millville Cemetery.
